Answers to Your Bridal Makeup Questions

How long does an application take?

45-90 minutes (depending on the look/application type)

Should I create a wedding morning schedule?

You may, however, I do prefer to do this for you and collaborate with your hair stylist so we both can ensure there is no overlap, and that there is enough time for us to do our work effectively. Again, I’m an efficiency nerd, I thrive on a solid schedule that ensures your morning goes as smoothly and effortlessly as possible!

Are false lashes included in the cost?

Yes, lashes are included in the cost

Is there a travel fee?

Yes, a travel fee applies for any location outside a 30 km radius of Guelph, ON. Location, time, parking availability, walk distance are all factored into the travel cost. (in the case of paid parking, the cost will be added to the travel fee in the cost.)

Is there a second artist fee?

Yes, a second artist fee applies when the number of applications assigned to the main artist is less than 5 and the getting ready time frame is less than 5 hours.

Is the cost of the trial included in the bridal makeup cost?

No, the trial cost is a separate charge.

Should I buy my own lipstick for the wedding day?

By all means love! I typically recommend this, although  I do put a lip touch up in the bride touch-up kit… but if you have a lip color you really love and want for the wedding day by all means bring it!!!

When is the best time to book a trial?

I prefer Wednesdays & Fridays after 5pm, because that works best with my schedule, however, if you have a specific day in mind where you’d like to get your makeup done (engagement photos, bachelorette, bridal shower, wedding etc) I can definitely try my best to accommodate for that! <3

How do I best prepare for my wedding makeup?

Wedding day setup: LOTS OF TABLE SPACE is massively appreciated, natural lighting is great but I do bring my own studio light just in case, so I prefer to be near an outlet or extension cord. Also let me know where to park!

Wedding day application wise: clean skin, remove any mascara, prep your skin more than an hour before your application,  do not apply sunscreen, eat breakfast if you can and brush your teeth after. If you like your eyebrows a specific way please pluck them a day prior to the wedding.

Prepping skin for wedding day: for the BEST makeup application results, treat yourself. Get those facials in, if you haven’t already, start a solid skin care routine MONTHS prior to the big day! (cleanser, toner, exfoliate 3 times a week, hyaluronic acid, moisturize, and apply SPF (not on the wedding morning though)).
